Spring Lake Engagement: Natural Elegance

Christina and Andrew’s engagement session in Spring Lake was truly memorable, especially since I knew Andrew from back when I was his high school Spanish teacher! It was so fun catching up with him, getting to know his fiancee Christina, and hearing about their wedding plans. We began their session at Divine Park, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene lake and their furry friend Colby joined us, adding a playful element to the session.

The park provided a perfect backdrop for photos and Christina and Andrew’s happiness was infectious, radiating in every shot. Their dog was an adorable addition, bringing smiles to all of us. A special thank you to our loyal doggy assistant!

After capturing moments in the park, we then headed to the beach. The sandy shores and gentle waves created a beautiful setting for their love story. Christina’s dress flowed gracefully in the breeze, complementing the beach’s natural beauty.

One of the session’s highlights was their custom wooden sign. It proudly displayed their Save the Date, adding a unique touch to the photos. The sign was beautifully crafted, reflecting their attention to detail.

I am honored to have been part of their special day. Capturing this engagement session was a joy, and I look forward to seeing their love continue to grow. Congratulations to Christina and Andrew!

Margate City NJ Engagement Session

Rainy days couldn’t dampen the spirits of Leanna and Kevin leading up to their engagement session in Margate City, NJ last August. This couple, who cherish their summer visits here, faced a unique challenge with their engagement session plans. Initially, rain postponed their photo shoot, and incredibly, the same happened with their rescheduled date.

By the time we managed to meet in Margate City NJ, it was less than a week before their wedding. The skies finally cleared, giving way to a perfect backdrop for capturing their love. That Sunday became a silver lining and a prelude to their upcoming celebration, filled with warmth and anticipation.

The delay added to the excitement and uniqueness of their session, highlighting the beauty of spontaneity. Leanna and Kevin’s flexibility and optimism shone through, making their photoshoot all the more special. They walked hand-in-hand, laughed, and shared quiet moments, creating unforgettable memories.

The final photos were a gorgeous testament to their relationship and the scenic beauty of Margate City NJ. I am immensely grateful that we could squeeze in their engagement session amidst the chaos. It was a joyful, intimate preamble to their wedding day, filled with laughter and love. Margate City NJ Engagement Album

Leanna and Kevin upgraded their engagement album to a luxurious 46-page edition with a soft gray leather cover, beautifully engraved. Central Park Engagement Session

The beauty of a Central Park Engagement Session came to life with Hanna and Eric. Firstly, their choice to meet first thing in the morning was perfect, allowing the couple to take advantage of the quiet morning. Central Park is always so magical in the morning before it gets crowded with tourists!

At the time of the session, Eric was living in Florida and Hanna in New York so meeting up in Central Park, the place where they went on their first date, was all the more meaningful.

As the session progressed, an unexpected twist occurred: the weather changed, bringing rain. Luckily, this did not dampen their spirits. Instead, we found refuge under Bethesda Terrace and spent a little extra time shooting under the arches and against the murals.

Hanna and Eric’s Central Park Engagement Session was a celebration of love and the beautiful unpredictability of life. These images will serve as a timeless reminder of their commitment, a testament to the enduring strength of their bond despite the miles that often separate them.

Summer Engagement Session in Spring Lake

Rachel and Zachary’s engagement session in Spring Lake was an absolute delight. From the moment we met, it was evident that their love was as warm and genuine as the spring sunshine. =) Rachel, with her radiant smile, and Zachary, with his infectious laughter, made the session a breeze. They were so fun to work with, bringing their own unique energy and personality to every shot.

Prior to the session, Rachel had her hair and makeup done at my studio in Point Pleasant. As she stepped out, looking absolutely stunning, it was clear that this was going to be a special day. Spring Lake provided the perfect backdrop for their love story. The tranquil waters, lush greenery, and gentle breeze set the scene for a romantic afternoon. From the moment we started shooting, Rachel and Zach were completely at ease in front of the camera. Their natural chemistry and genuine affection for each other shone through in every photograph.

As we wandered along the shoreline, capturing candid moments and stolen glances, it was evident that their love was the real deal. Their laughter echoed across the lake, creating memories that will last a lifetime. They were so comfortable with each other right from the start, making my job as a photographer an absolute joy.

The picturesque town of Westport, Connecticut, recently provided the perfect backdrop for Meghan and John’s engagement session. This charming location, with its scenic beauty and quaint charm, was like stepping into a storybook setting, ideal for celebrating the couple’s upcoming journey together.

As we wandered through Westport’s delightful streets, it felt like a treasure hunt for me, as I had never been there before. Meghan and John were such cheerful guides and led the way to discover the most beautiful spots for their photographs. Each corner of this enchanting town unveiled a new, picture-perfect scene, from the cozy shops to the peaceful waterfront, adding a magical touch to their engagement session.

Meghan and John’s bond was evident in every photo from their Westport, Connecticut session. As we explored, anticipation grew for their May wedding at Park Chateau Estate. Bay Head NJ Engagement Photos

Avery and Daniel’s engagement session last August was one of those perfectly laid-back, sunny days you wish could last forever. They picked Bay Head, NJ, not just for its charm but also as the place where they’ll tie the knot this May at Bay Head Yacht Club. We then headed to Spring Lake to incorporate beach and park settings.

We chose downtown Bay Head to start the session for its summer beach town vibes. This spot is only about a mile away from my studio and it’s so charming! We then headed to Spring Lake, taking advantage of the park’s natural beauty. It’s amazing how a simple backdrop can bring out the connection between two people so in tune with each other.

Next, we hit the beach. The vibe there was totally different but just as genuine. Avery and Daniel, with the ocean behind them, looked as natural and at ease as the waves rolling in.

I loved the variety of photos we created. From quiet moments in Bay Head and Divine Park to breezy beach shots, each set told a part of their story.

With their wedding at Bay Head Yacht Club on the horizon, these engagement photos in Bay Head and Spring Lake are a sweet start to their journey. Looking forward to May, it’s going to be beautiful to see how their wedding day unfolds. If their engagement session is anything to go by, their big day is going to be just as heartfelt and real.

August Engagement Session in Spring Lake

In August, Mary and Bryan ventured to some of our favorite spots in Spring Lake, NJ, for a charming engagement session. Against the backdrop of both the park and beach, this next part of their journey toward marriage unfolded, with the next chapter in site as they eagerly await their wedding in Montclair and celebration at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ, this March.

I met Mary thanks to one of my previous brides so I was excited to hear more about everything that had happened since I saw her at that last wedding. Her and Bryan’s engagement session started amidst the quiet of the park, where beautiful end of summer foliage and blossoming flowers provided a romantic setting. Mary looked gorgeous – wait until you see her gorgeous locks. I also loved her textured dress and Bryan of course looked handsome also.

After the park, we then headed to the beach and Mary and Bryan embraced the warmth of the sand and gentle sea breeze. I love getting to incorporate both park and beach for local engagement sessions – it’s the perfect balance and results in so much variety for printing and framing images around the home.

Mary and Bryan’s August engagement session not only captured their affection but also marked another step of their journey to matrimony. As their bond strengthens, Mary and Bryan eagerly anticipate their wedding day, surrounded by loved ones, and it will be here in no time! I’m so looking forward to getting them in front of my camera again. Here’s to my first spring wedding of 2024!

Meet Ali and Mike, a sweet couple from Long Island who I had the honor of photographing last summer. They came to meet me in Spring Lake for a beautiful autumn day engagement session in October. Despite the distance, their dedication shone through as they made the journey to one of my favorite spots on the Jersey Shore.

The day was perfect and the autumn breeze added a touch of romance to the air, making it a magical setting for their pre-wedding photos.

As we explored Spring Lake, the vibrant colors of fall served as a picturesque backdrop, creating beautiful moments that perfectly captured the essence of Ali and Mike’s love story. The chemistry between them was undeniable, making my job as their photographer an absolute joy. Ali and Mike’s connection was heartwarming and it was a beautiful session filled with genuine moments.

Tallman Mountain State Engagement Session

Last fall, I took a trip out to Rockland County, NY to document Mary and Keith’s engagement session at Piermont Pier and Tallman Mountain in Sparkill, NY. It was my first time meeting them and I so enjoyed getting to know them a bit before their upcoming summer wedding at Indian Trail Club. It was also so nice to capture them in such a beautiful setting, which had a rich palette of fall colors. It was an ideal setting to capture the essence of Mary and Keith’s connection.

I loved that we were able to incorporate two different locations for their shoot.

With their summer wedding at Indian Trail Club quickly approaching, these documented moments serve as a testament to the love and anticipation in their journey and I can’t wait to capture the next chapter. In the meantime, I’m so glad Mary and Keith get to enjoy their photos in their beautiful engagement album. Mary and Keith opted for a 10″x10″ album with a sage linen cover and added engraving to the cover.
